Our story PIA ECONDA – A success story
The idea for PIA ECONDA is born – Data Mining based on internet data.
econda GmbH is founded. The first econda product hits the market: ECONDA Analytics is launched as a pioneer in the field of data analysis. In 2004, “ECONDA Analytics” is still known as “Shop Monitor”. PIA ECONDA is an SaaS developer as early as 2004, offering its solutions in the cloud.
The “ECONDA Click Monitor” is launched. Later, we will talk about a tool for optimizing usability, with the product appropriately dubbed ”ECONDA Usability Analytics” .
The focus on data analysis is expanded to include data mining for the automated calculation of product recommendations: ECONDA Cross Sell is released. We are proud to be the first web analytics provider to be certified in data protection. From now on, TÜV will audit us annually and put us through our paces on all data protection topics.
PIA ECONDA joins the “Performance Interactive Alliance” – or PIA, for short.
The term “Customer Data Platform” is not really popular yet – but we are already launching our personalization solution “ECONDA Audience Relationship Platform” for personalizing product recommendations and content. Artificial intelligence enters the PIA ECONDA SaaS product world.
PIA ECONDA moves – the charm of our old building is no longer enough for our needs and the growing number of colleagues. New, modern premises with cutting-edge, ergonomic equipment such as height-adjustable desks for all will become our new standard. Great common areas and a sensational roof terrace with Weber BBQ round off the picture.
PIA ECONDA remains an innovator: Usability and UX-optimized User Interfaces for PIA ECONDA products are launched, Artificial Intelligence spreads to all PIA ECONDA solutions and who knows what else we can expect to see this year?

Marketing & Communication
Our MarCom team drive our growth, promoting the PIA ECONDA brand and generating leads for our sales team. From idea to final campaign, they focus on teamwork, taking creative paths and sometimes going against the current.
Finance & Controlling
Numbers can be fun – and our Finance & Controlling team have a handle on all PIA ECONDA invoicing processes with an almost playful glint in their eyes. Whether it’s concluding contracts or reimbursing travel expenses, this department manages our liquidity with refined processes.

Our Technical Customer Service team will help you with the technical implementation of our products and are always there to answer any questions and solve problems. Quickly, simply and with complete competence. This team acts as the interface between our customers, our technical product teams and the Customer Success Team.
Even after contracts have been signed, we continue to offer full-scale customer service. Empathy and communication are among the greatest strengths of the Customer Success Team who are on hand for questions about working with and using PIA ECONDA solutions.
Our IT team is always on the lookout for defective hardware or phishing attacks. Whether it’s about hardware and software support or managing our server infrastructure and networks: This team is all about happy, relaxed faces.
Our Development team makes it possible to have the best experience with our analytics and recommendation solutions. Whether as a data engineer or software developer – together they guarantee that our customers can use smart solutions for their online stores to make them even more successful.
