application process looks like
Your application
Fill in a short application form, send us your resumé and attach any supporting documents.
Selection phase
The next step is for us to carefully review your documents and forward your application to our colleagues in the relevant departments.
The first meeting
If the feedback from the relevant department is positive, you will be invited to an initial call on Microsoft Teams.
The aim of this chat is to get to know one another, to clarify expectations for both parties and to clear up any outstanding questions.
The face-to-face meeting
If both parties are still happy with the expectations after the first meeting, we will invite you to a face-to-face session at our office in Karlsruhe – either in a meeting room or on our roof terrace.
Decision phase
If everything works for you and for us, we will send you a contract offer shortly.

An intensive induction awaits you, during which you will get to know the team and also PIA ECONDA’s products better.
FAQ Questions and answers about applying to PIA ECONDA
The best way to apply is online via our Careers page. Select the position you are interested in and click on the “Apply now” button at the bottom of the job listing. This will open our application form where you can enter your data and upload your application documents. Then just submit your application and you’re done – you have now successfully applied for a job with us. If none of the current vacancies are a good fit for you, you can also send us an unsolicited application – we are always on the lookout for exciting talents and experts like you! Email your application to karriere@econda.de.
Your resumé is the most important document for us. Feel free to also include any references. A cover letter is not required but that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy learning more about you and your motivation! In terms of format, we recommend submitting PDF files and making sure none of the documents are larger than 20 MB.
We always keep our vacancies up-to-date. So as long as you can still see a vacancy on our website, it hasn’t been filled yet.
We are generally looking for applicants who can start right away. Therefore, please also state your earliest possible start date in your application so that we can decide on your first day of work together. Exemptions apply to vacancies for intern or dual student positions etc.

Once you have submitted your application via our online form, you will receive a single email confirmation. That way, you will know that we have received your documents. We will then carefully review your documents and be in touch shortly with feedback. This process generally takes around a week.
For us, interviews are about getting to know you and finding out more about your skills, abilities and talents. You know best who you are, so there’s no need to do too much prep. Just be yourself! We engage in an open dialog in our interviews. Feel free to bring along questions of your own so you can get to know us better! 😊
Hooray! Both parties are happy and the contract has been signed. We’re delighted that you are now a part of PIA ECONDA! We are of course here for you anytime prior to your first day of work to clear up any questions you might have. We will also send you all the important information ahead of time so you can learn what your first few days at PIA ECONDA will look like.
So, it’s finally time. Your start date has arrived. Everything will be ready for you on your first day. Our IT colleagues have already taken care of everything you need get to work straight way and have set up your hardware and login details. In the first few days, you will not only get familiar with the PIA ECONDA products, you will also meet the most important points of contact and our many different departments. And then it’s time for you to be onboarded to your new team! 😊
