The Click Monitor's heat map visually depicts the click behavior of visitors in the form of a hot/cold map. Areas which look hot refer to items clicked relatively frequently by visitors.

Usability application

It thus becomes clear very quickly whether your visitors are using the items and functions as intended. If an unlinked image is labeled as having been clicked on often, for example, you can convert it to a link in order to have visitors more thoroughly explore your web presence. Heat maps also help you to decide where to place banners—or determine whether text links or buttons would be more effective.
When you continuously monitor your visitors' behavior, you can continuously optimize usability.
